Dear reader I just finished “A Thousand Pieces of You” book #1 in the “Firebird” series by Claudia Gray.  I picked up this book in the Nook store because it was on sale and because I’ve been hearing about the series for awhile, my personal review of the book is as follows:

I loved the first half of book, however the ending of book felt almost as if I was reading a separate book (I don’t know how to explain why without giving away the ending) I am hoping that at least some of my questions will be answered in the second book.

On a side note dear reader reading the book really did get me thinking about alternative dimensions and how my life would be different if I wasn’t disabled, the weird part of thinking about it was that I realized that for better or worse being disabled probably affects how I am as a person and I have spent years learning to love myself as I am and I wouldn’t want to change that even if it meant walking because what good is walking if I didn’t like the person who I was while doing it.

Overall I personally rate this book a 7/10. Happy reading dear reader 😊.
