Dear reader I just finished reading “Lying For a Living” by Steve McCondichie. I was blessed enough to be able to download a free ebook copy of the book from Netgally using their “Read Now” option(Meaning that I didn’t have to be approved by the publisher first) in exchange for my honest review of the book which is as follows:

The concept of main storyline in my personal opinion was a familiar one(a man who seeks to be the hero of his own life, especially given the fact that he knows/accepts that he is/has been kind of an ass to a lot of people) however the characters bring a freshness and a heart to it that made me care about the majority of the characters.

A couple of the subplots dragged on/didn’t make a lot of sense even though they kind of fit into the main storyline, two of which seemed to not really get finished. The ending kind of felt rushed I wish that the author would have spent a bit more time with it than he did on some of the subplots. Overall I personally rate this book a 6 out of 10 because I liked the characters so much.

Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you like it doing so helps me to get approved by Netgally and other places for future books ♡.
