Dear reader I just finished reading “Shadow and Bone” book number one in the Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. I picked up this book from the Nook store on my tablet because I have been hearing a lot about it and because it seemed interesting, My personal review of the book is as follows:

I really enjoyed the writing style it was really easy for me personally to get into.It took me a bit to fully understand what was going on storyline wise and to feel connected to the characters(around the middle of book is when I felt fully involved in/invested in the story arc) however once I did I was hooked. One of my personal favorite parts about the book was how realistic and relatable I personally found the main character to be. I also found the magic system for the book/trilogy to be really interesting.

I plan on downloading the next book in the trilogy from the Nook store as soon as I’ve finished posting this review. Overall I personally rate 7 and half out of 10. Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you like it doing so helps me to get considered by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews 💜.
