Dear reader I just finished reading “The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue” by Mackenzi Lee. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because I had been hearing a lot about it and because it seemed interesting my personal review of the book is as follows:

For the majority of the first half of the book I didn’t like “Monty”(most of the things would give away romantic based plot points) for however towards the middle half through until the ending of the book he started to grow on me and become more and more complex as his background was revealed.

I definitely feel like plot twists towards the end of the book were a little bit too far fetched and did pull me out of the storyline a bit. I wish that we could have gotten a bit more of “Felicity’s backstory(given her more things than just things that felt like, in my personal opinion; they were there as convenient plot saving devices). I also hope that we can get a short story about the pirates from the end of book. Overall I personally rate this book an 8 out of 10. Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you like it doing so helps me to get considered by publishers and authors for future books as well as helping others find my reviews ❤.
