Dear reader I just finished reading “Walk on Earth a Stranger” book #1 in the “Gold Seer” trilogy by Rae Carson. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because the author of the “Iron Druid Chronicles” recommended it in his news letter, and because I really like books based in the Old West time period. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I fell into the story almost immediately, the characters are all very flushed out and very realistic.  The descriptions of the landscape of the area that the story is set in makes you feel as though you’re there.

I really related to Leah a lot, especially her determination to stand up for and be true to herself no matter what. The romantic part of the book kind of annoyed me with the “will they won’t they” however I understand how it fits with the story. I also understand Leah’s nervousness about trusting people in general and in regards to her secret. I really enjoyed the end of book and I will be downloading the next book in the series as soon as I finish posting this ♡.

Overall I personally rate this book a 8/10. Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you like it doing so helps me to get approved by Netgally and other places for future books ♡.
