Dear reader I just finished reading “When I Cast Your Shadow” by Sarah Porter. I was blessed enough to receive a free E-Arc of the book from the author/publisher in exchange for my honest review of the book which is as follows:

The storyline of the book hits very close to home for me personally because my older brother Shaun past away(December of 2010) and I can personally really relate to/with “Ruby” wanting to do anything she can to bring her brother back. I also relate to loving someone who has addiction issues; To me personally the main “moral”(it’s probably not the best way of phrasing it but I can’t really explain it any better) of the story is loving someone no matter how many flaws they have.

I didn’t personally really understand how the mythology of world worked but it didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment of the storyline that much. The story felt like it took a little piece of my heart after I finished reading it.

Overall I personally rate this book a 7 and half out 10. If you’re interested in picking up a copy of the book it comes out on September 12th. Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you like it doing so helps me to get considered by publishers and authors for future book reviews like this one ❤ as well as helping others find my reviews.
